Visalia's Veterans Avenue - Military Banner Program

The BRAVE Project Visalia

Honoring Our Brave Service Members

Veterans Avenue of Visalia is a community-driven initiative to honor and recognize the service and dedication of our military veterans. We invite all veterans and their families to participate in this special project, celebrating military appreciation in Visalia.


Located on Goshen Avenue, west of Akers Street, Veterans Avenue is adorned with personalized banners that showcase the proud faces of our service members. These banners serve as a public display of gratitude, ensuring that their sacrifices are never forgotten.

Purchase Banners

For those interested in participating, banners are available for purchase at $350 for a single banner or $600 for two banners placed on the same pole. This option allows for fathers and sons, brothers, a brother and a sister together, or cousins to be honored together on a single pole.


Once installed, these banners will remain on display for four years in accordance with city regulations. To join the program, simply fill out the application form on page 3 and mention "VETERAN" in the comment section. Please note that installations are scheduled once we receive ten processed applications, and the entire process may take 2-4 months to complete.
